Original, handprinted and one of a kind. This print is created through the traditional woodblock printmaking technique and it is the No.3 print from the series. The Mountain of Madness series is an abstracted interpretation of the northern light. A lone viewer standing still facing the mountain and blending into the environment. The traditional technique of creating a multi-color woodblock print consists of carving one woodblock for each color. This technique has been used for instance by Japanese artists and artisans since the 18th century.
