Hand-signed, framed Marianne Wieland Hunger Print.
(Bid on the other one to have a pair!)
Marianne came to Alaska in 1949 with her father. In 1979, she was attending an adult Bible class that began discussing the issue of world hunger. As a way to adress this issue, every year an embossed print is desinged with a different biblical theme and sold during the Christmas season.
As of 2015, proceeds for this project have totalled more than $275,000, which has been designated to hunger projects both locally and worldwide.
Available for local pick-up only.
