Thunderbirds "Pacific Thunder" Print

Since their inception in 1953 the United States Air Force Air Demonstration Team, the Thunderbirds have flashed through the sky in awesome displays of aerial thunder. The team has been called “America’s Ambassadors in Blue.” The team has performed in all 50 states and over 60 countries. They began their history flying the F-84 Thunderstreak and now fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon. This particular painting hung in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum when first created in 1998. The original now hangs at the Air Force headquarters for the Pacific Air Forces Command at Pearl Harbor’s Hickham AFB.
