Private Interpretative Hike with Mountain Man Greg
Mountain Man Greg will take you and three other adult hikers on a gentle 1/2 mile hike. He will share about the rich local history beyond just the Donner Party story: the first wagons over the Sierra, first transcontinental railroad, first coast to coast highway, Native Americans of the area, even the 1960 Winter Olympics! You all will hike to two of the three cabin sites from the winter of 1846-47 where you will enjoy a lunch picnic of a packed lunch and beverages!
Greg Palmer has been leading Donner Party Hikes for 27 years … exactly the same number of years that these history hikes have been offered.
