RASORFISH received a scholarship to study at the Royal College of Art. At the time she was the only black student in the design school.  Following art school she freelanced for organisations such as the Women's Press, national and international charities and BBC Education on projects working to raise awareness of racial and gender inequality.

One of the most enjoyable assignments during this period was illustrating the book cover for Ellen Kuzwayo's novel 'Sit down and Listen'.

She uses diverse media, including found objects for her collages building up textures and layering the foundation. She combines un-associated images and objects to create new forms, often faces. Her work is imaginative and often has an element of humour in the way she places and juxtaposes the pieces to create her images. Whilst being steeped in pre-digital techniques, Rasorfish also explores digital platforms, including animation to develop her creative expression.

Her work has been likened to collage artists Romare Bearden and Hanna Hoch.

Rasorfish teaches Art and Design and has a Studio Practise in East London.
