"I'm an award-winning ‘first generation’ Young British Artist (YBA), bestselling Author and Art Collector born and raised in London that as a fan of Graffiti and Street Art, I reached out to ‘Dee Warburton’ to get involved in the commendable 'Art versus Covid' charity fundraiser project on the basis that I could contribute anonymously.

I decided to produce an experimental mixed-media piece for this project dedicated to one of ‘Banksy’s’ most recognisable works 'Girl with Balloon' originally painted in 2002 at Waterloo Bridge.  My piece depicts the 'Girl with Balloon' as an isolated young woman looking through her bedroom window on her 18th Birthday in lock-down due to the Covid-19 pandemic with only the internet to connect to the outside world."  Ann Onymous

Ann says that producing work under her anonymous name allows her to freely express her socio-political opinions openly and honestly through the medium of ‘Street Art’ that she admires and continues to love, without discrediting her long-standing professional relationships with her agent, avid collectors and the galleries and museums that continue to sell and house her works. More importantly, she believes that it gives her the liberty of ‘freedom of expression’ to create a new body of experimental work without the economic pressures she now endures to create bespoke ‘art’ that is the new behind the scenes 'norm', enforced on a lot of contemporary ‘commercially viable’ artists’ of today!
