Nate Avery was born and raised in the Hampton Roads Region of Virginia. Mr. Avery is the inaugural graduate of the Tidewater Community College Glass Department and holds an Associates of Applied Arts degree with a concentration in Glass. Mr. Avery also received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree with a concentration in studio arts from Virginia Wesleyan University.
He is an active member of the Peninsula Glass Guild and owns and operates his own dedicated design line. Nate is also a graduate of the Chrysler Museum of Arts Assistantship Program in Norfolk Virginia.
