History Research: A Practicum, with John Demos

A wonderful opportunity for lovers of history, whether history students or folks who would like to learn to conduct research on their own. This is a chance for you to learn from the master!  

John Demos, Samuel Knight Professor of History Emeritus at Yale University and Bidwell House Emeritus board member, will lead a seminar-style practicum to exemplify research in history.  The focus will be a specific *primary-source* document, provided by John (with appropriate context), for up-close discussion and analysis by the participants. (No prerequisites; no exam; an automatic A for everyone.)  

You are bidding on a single practicum: the bidder will assemble their own group of fellow historians to participate in the session. Minimum of four (4) participants, maximum of eight (8). To be held either at the Bidwell House Museum or at Demos' home in Tyringham.
