Tibetan musician Tenzin Choegyal’s four albums

Tenzin Choegyal’s music is evocative, healing and transcendent.

As a generous supporter of ATC, Tenzin Choegyal has offered his four most special albums, the latest being Songs from the Bardo, a hauntingly beautiful musical interpretation of Bardo Thodol (known in the West as the Tibetan Book of the Dead), a classic Buddhist text on dying and rebirth.

Musician Tenzin Choegyal draws on his Tibetan roots to create original compositions that uniquely express his cultural lineage.

Born to a nomadic family in Tibet, raised in the Tibetan refugee community in Dharamsala in northern India and living in Brisbane, Tenzin has travelled across Australia and the world. His songs have found a special place in world music, collaborating with internationally renowned artists and challenging traditional Tibetan musical norms.
